TSUBA - The Special Collection of Rolling Brooks Gallery

Rolling Brooks Gallery hosts an eclectic range of hand-carved timber artworks, snuff bottles, antique/vintage carved camphor chests, and many East Asian edged weapons. The Tsuba, hand guard to the Samurai warriors Katana, has captivated the Gallerys heart and holds centre stage. This book is a result of the gallerys current digitisation efforts and is the first official point of access for the gallery, along with its Insta social media page.A wide range of Tsuba styles, themes, and construction methods are seen with the aid of over 200 colour photos showcasing 100+ Tsuba hand guards.
