Don e Mike são melhores amigos. Ambos moram na sonolenta cidade de Saltley e ambos gostam de observar pássaros. Suas vidas tornam-se subitamente emocionantes quando Mike nota duas águias em um lago próximo. Os garotos decidem proteger os pássaros para que eles possam fazer um ninho. Mas quando o Sr. Roberts demonstra interesse pelos pássaros os meninos tornam-se suspeitos.

Don and Mike are best friends. Both live in the sleepy town of Saltley and both like to watch birds. Their lives suddenly become exciting when Mike note two eagles in a nearby lake. The boys decide to protect the birds so that they can make a nest. But when Mr. Roberts demonstrates interest in birds the boys become suspects.
